Fiber Fun for Ages 7-14!

We have planned a variety of fiber art classes for a creative and fiber filled summer.  

Crochet 101 (2 x 1hr)
July 23rd & 30th

For the brand new crocheter, learn how to crochet a scarf using a super bulky yarn and large crochet hook. 
All Materials Included

Crochet 201 (2 x 2hrs)
August 6th & 13th

For those that have dabbled in crochet and want to grow their skills, crochet "Pierre the Penguin". Pierre is a beginner level Woobles kit.

July 24th

Granny squares!! You must already know how to chain and single crochet to take this class. 
Materials required: multiple colors in the yarn of your choice and the appropriate size hook for your yarn.

August 7th

Joining squares! Crochet a set of squares before class (does not have to be a granny square, single crochet squares or other stitches are ok) to learn different methods to join them together to make scarves, bags, hats and more!
Materials Required: Yarn and hook to crochet squares before class. Tapestry needle and extra yarn for joining during class. 

Crochet 301 (2 x 2hrs)
August 14th & 21st

For the crocheter that can confidently chain and single crochet, maybe has done a project in the round, crochet a more advanced Wooble. Learn how to make all the smaller pieces and join them together.

Needle Felting 101 (2 x 2hrs)
July 27th & August 3rd

Learn the basics of needle felting by decorating a felt banner/wall hanging. Shapes and designs will be created using molds and templates.

July 25th

Decorate your own felted can coozie! Prior experience not required.

Needle Felting 201 (2 x 2hrs)
August 8th & 15th

Needle felt a 3D animal! Prior felting experience is recommended for this class.

Punch Needling 101 (2 hrs)
August 14th

Learn how to punch needle in this beginner friendly class. Choose from 3 different animal designs.

Weaving Loom 101 (2 hrs)
August 17th

Learn basic weaving skills on a lil' loom. Looms will be pre-started before class so we can get right into the fun part!

How old do you have to be?
Students should be ages 7-14. Younger children may be approved on a case by case basis. 

How many kids can participate?
Registration is limited to 8 students in each class.

What supplies do they need to bring to classes?
Required materials vary for each class. If you have questions regarding a specific class, please contact the shop. 

When is drop off/pick up?
Kids can be dropped off no more than 15min early and must be picked up within 15min of the end of class. Parents are welcome to stay in the shop during classes!

How much is camp?
Classes are $10 per hour of instruction plus the cost of materials. The price for each class with vary based on the project cost. 

Is there a discount if I'm registering more than one kid?
We are offering a 10% discount off for the second registration. 

Registration & Refund Policy
Full payment is required upon registration. Regular class cancellation policies apply.

Parent/Guardian Authorization
Upon registration, parents/guardians will be asked to digitally sign a waiver granting Warm and Wooly permission to use photos of your child and their projects for publicity/advertising. Waivers will also grant Warm and Wooly the authorization to act in their best judgement in any emergency requiring medical attention.

Special Needs
Warm and Wooly's instructors are not equipped for students with special needs or behavioral disorders. If you'd like to make sure your child is a good fit for fiber arts classes, please reach out to Kaitlyn, owner of Warm and Wooly (651)354-5713.
